This Privacy Policy describes how Zypeme Private Limited (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use the ZypeMe mobile application and related services (“App”). By accessing or using ZypeMe, you agree to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the App.

We may collect the following types of information to operate and improve our services:

a) Personal Information

• Name, gender, age, phone number, email address
• Profile photos and profile details
• Interests, preferences, and account settings

b) Location Information

• Approximate or precise GPS location to show nearby users and improve match suggestions

c) Device & Technical Information

• Device type, OS version, IP address, app usage data, crash logs, device identifiers

d) Communication & Chat Data

• Messages, likes, matches, reports, blocks, and interaction history inside the app

e) Payment Information (Razorpay)

• Subscription and payment status
• Razorpay transaction references
• (We do not store credit card numbers, UPI PINs, CVV, or bank passwords.)

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage your user account
• Show compatible or nearby matches
• Enable chat, likes, swipes, and friendship features
• Improve safety, prevent fraud, and enforce policies
• Send OTPs, alerts, and notifications
• Process subscription payments via Razorpay
• Personalize the user experience and app content

You may disable permissions anytime from your device settings, but some features may not work.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only with:

• Razorpay – to process subscriptions and payments
• Service Providers – hosting, analytics, SMS/OTP, and backend support
• Law Enforcement – only when legally required (court order, fraud, threats, or safety concerns)

We use encryption, secure servers, and access controls to protect your data. However, no security system is 100% guaranteed, and you use the service at your own risk.

• Account data is retained as long as your profile is active
• Chat history may be retained for safety and audit reasons
• After account deletion, personal data is deleted within a reasonable time
• Payment records may be retained as required by law

You may:

• Access or update your information
• Disable permissions from device settings
• Request account deletion directly in the App
• Contact support for data-related requests

ZypeMe is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Accounts found to belong to users under 18 will be removed.

ZypeMe may contain links or integrations from third parties (analytics, Razorpay, Google tools). We are not responsible for their policies or practices.

All premium purchases and subscriptions are processed through Razorpay under RBI-compliant standards. Razorpay may collect billing and mandate information to process recurring payments. Refunds are handled as per our Subscription & Refund Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated terms.
